I created a poster using Flickr and a poster template from Big Huge Labs. I like the idea of creating motivational posters and trading cards with the students' pictures on them. Also, trading cards could be used for literary concepts, inference activities, etc. As a teacher, I could use the magazine covers to celebrate students' accomplishments and birthdays. Students could use the magazine covers to discuss an aspect of the book for instance...main character could be on a People Magazine cover, the setting could be on a National Geographic cover, etc. The video maker could be used as well. The Mosaic Maker could be used to show aspects of the plot of their book.
Poster says, "SMILE...If you see someone without a smile, give them one
of yours."
